Retaking...(retomando...)

Well, it's been ages since my last post, so let me simplify the previous post into some quick concepts:

We are always tempted to classify and in such effort we define that a game works, or is fun, or is better than the other, or is better designed. I believe we oughta drop all these senseless and stupid notions. We can't measure gameplay, we can't prove gameplay, at least not in an Absolute fashion.  I'm not shouting "relativism!", I'm just pointing out how pointless it is to think that we are going to find better gameplay, useful gameplay.

My previous post ended with a thought: instead of focusing on the Rules of Design, why not face the design of rules?

Perhaps "gameplay", a vast and contradictory term, is no more than the rules we lay out for interaction to occur.
